Reading Week and Napa Valley's Adventure
This week (Oct 20-24) is called "Reading Week." We don't have classes and all students are encouraged to catch up with their reading assignments or to read the rest of the reading assignments:)My plan for this week is to get some things done so that I can have more flexibility in my schedule when I am doing my ministry, work, and studies in days ahead.
This Tuesday was saved for enjoying the beauty of creation and spending time with my undescribable wonderful friends. We went to Napa, Sonoma County, where my eyes were spoiled with the scenery that for the first time in the USA compeled me to imagine that it is a great place to live, almost the same as my village.
We went to visit some vinery which offered us free tasting. Something in me was really telling me to try it but then my heart told me to wait for the new wine that will be drunk at the time when the Son of God is coming back for the second time. I had drunk the best wine in the world anyway: captikus - it was part of my past.
The "adventure" - that's how I call it - was so great, as great as my thanks for Gretchen Cain who was so kind to take us there.
