Ecclesia reformata semper reformanda secundum verbum Dei

Morning Prayer Meeting

Morning Prayer Meeting is held once a week on Wednesday start at 7 to 7.30 am. We are using student lounge at Scott Hall. The average attandance each week for now is 4. It's very true to say that the Holy Spirit moves when God's people pray.

The prayer meeting starts with an opening prayer and followed by singing of praises. Next is either Bible reading or short encouragement. Afterwards we start to pray the twelve prayer requests. After we done with the twelve prayer requests, we pray for each other, and conclude the prayer with the Lord's prayer. Some of the "intercessors/advocators":) are taking Spirituality class afterwards, so either they read or have them selves light breakfast that is provided.

We are so grateful to hear testimonies about what God has done when we bring our concerns in prayer. Prayer is so powerful, not because of the prayer itself, but because of God who answers prayer.

Being with this group has been a great blessing for me. One of the reasons of why I am so grateful that God brought me here to study.
