Ecclesia reformata semper reformanda secundum verbum Dei

Chaplain Assistants' Orientation

The Chaplain Assistants' Orientation was held for two days (18-19 August)at Montgomery Board Meeting room. There were four of us who will be assisting with the community worship service at SFTS, Barbara, Elizabeth, Luke, and me. Dr. Charles Marks and Dr. Dan Hoggatt as the Chaplain and Music Director are really committed to walking us through it, and the team members are just awesome people.

I am so glad to be part of it. It is such a great joy to participate in preparing the chapel service for the community, but at the same time I am worried about the challenges that I am going to face. Am I going to be able to overcome them and to keep my integrity in everything that I will be doing? I realize that I have some other responsibilities that will also require my time and energy, and I am so afraid that I would let people down. Now I truly pray for God's wisdom that I can manage myself and my time wisely, so that everything will be a great honor for his name.
I am so grateful to have a friend like Noel who always supports me and also encourages me to rely on God. At time like this I fondly remember those who unceasingly praying for me, I have my strength in them.
