I don't know why the word "gospel" has been adopted to refer to this "secret sayings" of Thomas, instead of using "logia" (sayings) as the writing's self-revelation. 'Another' gospel is an ear-catching reference or bombardier title to an ancient text, isn't it? But "logia" is better.
